Exam for SSC CHSL for session 2017-2018 will be conducted soon. The selection will be done on the result of 3 rounds which includes Tier-1, 2, 3 for various posts offered like data entry operators and lower division clerk as well at various departments. Tier-1 includes all the objective type questions and this will be conducted in through online mode, on the other hand Tier-2 will be pen and paper mode, Tier-3 is all about the computer proficiency and knowledge one candidate is having. The written exam have several components like-General Intelligence, English, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Each component contains 25 questions and every question is of 2 marks in tier-1. Marking of 0.5 marks will be done for every wrong answer.

General Intelligence and Reasoning: This component of the exam is very confusing and typical. This subject need high alertness and time while answering the questions. Topics such as analogy, syllogism, coding/decoding, classification are included. Students appearing for Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination should have deep logics and analysing skills.

English language & reading comprehension: This section contains all the question related to grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension. Students those have good grip on English can do well in the examination because this section will interest them a lot. Quantitative Aptitude: Quantitative aptitude have all the mathematical questions in which a student can experience questions like arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry, mensuration and statics too. Solving sample papers on daily basis is a key to success for this section. Speed of calculation should be increased to cope up with time. Concept of the candidate should be very clear.
General Knowledge: General Knowledge and current affairs questions can be encountered in this. Reading newspapers or listening to news can enhance one’s chance to do well in this. General knowledge is one of the scoring subject in the whole exam. Information of daily events and current happenings should be read on a regular basis. This part includes history, culture, geography, general policy, etc.
